Questions we hear most often

If your question is answered here, the reply will arrive a little faster. If it isn't, send it through anyway — we'd rather hear from you twice than miss a useful conversation.

01

Can I send a tip anonymously?

Yes. Use a private browser window, avoid work devices, and reach us at [email protected] over a personal account. For higher-risk material, request our SecureDrop link and we'll set up a private channel within 24 hours.

02

Do you accept sponsored content or paid articles?

No. DgTal India is a reader-funded editorial outlet. We run partnerships for research reports, events, and syndication only — never paid placements. Our editorial firewall policy is published in the About section.

03

How do I report a factual error in an article?

Email [email protected] with the article URL, the line in question, and a source for the correct information. Verified corrections are appended to the article with a dated note and a public changelog entry.

04

Can students or researchers request interviews?

Academics, MPhil and PhD researchers, and journalism students are welcome to write to [email protected]. We respond to genuine research requests once a quarter, prioritising work published by affiliated institutions.

05

Do you offer guest contributions or op-eds?

Occasionally. We commission op-eds from named experts, practitioners, and policy researchers. Pitch a 120-word abstract to [email protected] with three examples of your previous writing and your area of expertise.

06

Can I republish or translate a DgTal India article?

Our reports carry a Creative Commons license that allows republishing with attribution and a link back. For translations, write to [email protected] and we'll respond with a quick syndication agreement.
